Sail Cargo
Cargo by sail: a low carbon alternative
The last puzzle piece in your ethical supply chain…
By shipping with Grayhound, you make sure that your cargo is transported as environmentally friendly as possible. Our main propulsion is the wind, and the minimal engine use necessary in harbours or pressing situations is offset by donating at Atmosfair.
Grayhound can carry 10 tonnes below deck and 2 x 300-litre barrels on deck. We have an Area Category Zero commercial licence to sail in all waters worldwide. For time estimates, see sample journey times below.
Our crew is experienced in professionally handling cargo as well as social media: Footage of loading, sailing, arriving and unloading as well as live journey updates will be provided.

"Grayhound was one of the ships involved in this project from the very beginning. The key element of this project has been to combine historical traditions with modern progress: revive freight and maritime transport of organic and local products."
